Joe Randa blasted a homerun and had 3 RBI as the Langley Farm Team outscored
the Chicago Rastafarians 5 to 2.
Langley erupted with the game winning runs in the bottom of the 8th inning
with 3 runs utilizing 4 base hits. Mark Loretta got things going when he
laced a base-knock. Derrek Lee came next and he grounded into a double play.
Frank Thomas then laced a single. Raul Ibanez was up next and he drew a
walk. Randa stepped into the box and clubbed a three-run home run (his 2nd
of the season). Both teams finished the game with 9 hits.
Shawn Camp(3-0) allowed no runs in 1 and 2/3 innings, and picked up the
victory. Braden Looper earned the save, his 5th. The loss was charged to
Elmer Dessens(1-2) in relief.
